Hi and welcome to a new web3 weekly. If you are new here, this is a weekly format where I share recent web3 news - mostly in culture, fashion and music. I always try to keep it short, so here we go:

Snapchat working on adding NFTs as AR filters. According to a report from Financial Times, the company is set to start this experiment with a small number of creators in August.
DJ 3LAU, who founded the music NFT marketplace Royal, explains how NFTs are shaping the music collections of the future. If you want more, you can also watch this 45 min long video interview during NFT.NYC. Royal is probably the biggest NFT-based music platform at this point, with 71M of funding.

Tony Hawk, the internationally renowned professional skater, solidified a deal with The Sandbox to create "the biggest skate park in the metaverse."
A judge in the U.K. granted permission to serve a lawsuit using a non-fungible token. This marks the first time an NFT gained the status of legal documentation in court proceedings in the country.

LimeWire, yes LimeWire, relaunched as a marketplace for digital collectibles created by artists such as Travis Barker, Brandy, Dillon Francis, Maino, Fabolous and Gramatik.
Disneyâs accelerator program kicked off last week with six web3-focused companies building immersive and technologically advanced experiences.

Farfetch starts web3 accelerator program (virtual) in partnership with European VC firm Outlier Ventures that will award 10 web3 fashion startups with coaching and $150,000 each. Applications are open now and closes mid-August.
Jason Wu launches digital twin of Michelle Obamaâs inaugural gown in partnership with DressX. The NFT will come with two tickets to his upcoming NYFW show.
Burberry drops virtual handbag collection on Roblox. As part of the collaboration, each handbag is accompanied by an exclusive emote, a unique action that avatars can perform on Roblox.
Tommy Hilfiger to return to New York Fashion Week with phygital experience - bringing together the physical world with the metaverse. The runway event will also be live-streamed on Roblox.
Roblox launches digital designer showcase in collaboration with Karlie Kloss. The âFashion Klossette Designer Showcaseâ is a centralised hub in Roblox that allows visitors to explore pop-up shops with community-created fashion collections.
Nike is building a new platform for digital assets and hints with this new Swoosh.Nike website which states that âA new experience from Nike is coming soonâ.
Digital fashion platform Draup raised $1.5M pre-seed to build out a digital marketplace and grow a fashion community.
